The guest speaker I'm writing on is Dr. Delong, she is a professor at Chatham University for marketing, she was the faculty advisor to the award-winner chatham marketing association. Was also a clinical professor at Tulane University. Was also a manager for Entergy corporation and Boswell worldwide.

Marketing is a very important part in business and just like Dr. Delong's lecture we talked about the 4 p's in class. Product, price, place and promotional strategy; these are very important because it deals with having the right outlook on your product and how it has the right plan to sell that product in the right location. We also learned about having the right idea to promote that product to sell the product before someone even buys it. Marketing is very important it gives the buyer the first look of to see and try a product before buying it.

Reviewing what we learned with the Harvard Business Review technology plays a big role into marketing as well because people can put ads for things that you're similar looking up on your google search that can pop up on your ads. That could be data driven marketing which is something we learned in our book with how marketing can be added on Facebook from your most recent or most popular google searches to try and persuade you to make an online purchase.
